Melek Kaniyolu is a certified translator and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, member of the The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, CICC.
She has worked in the areas of translation, immigration and justice for over 15 years. She has also worked for 7 years for Francisation within the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration, MIFI in teaching French for new immigrants.
She has a master and bachelor degree in Public Relations from the University of Ankara. After arriving in Canada, she studied advanced language French and English at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She received a certificate of an immigration consultant in e-Academy CSIC and studied at Concordia University in the Bachelor’s degree program specializing in translation.
She has been working as a Court Interpreter at the Courthouse for the Ministry of Justice of Quebec since 2012. She is also an official translator for Turkish General Consulate in Montreal, SAAQ (Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec) and language tester for Air Canada.
